Our DBT group is a supportive space where clients learn practical tools to manage emotions, reduce anxiety and depression, navigate relationships and handle impulsive behaviors. We focus on building real-life skills using proven DBT techniques.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Clients attend individual therapy (usually once or twice a week) and a 90-minute skills group each week. This combined approach offers strong support and helps improve daily life.

GROUP COMMITMENT:

Each cycle includes Mindfulness (always taught) plus one of the core modules: Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, or Interpersonal Effectiveness. Each cycle lasts about 9–10 weeks.

We offer separate groups for teens and adults, with new cycles beginning regularly.

Each group session is $125

Who are these groups for?

  • TEENS (ages 13-18)
Navigating the challenges of adolescence, school, peer pressure, and emotional regulation.

  • YOUNG ADULTS
Developing independence, managing transitions, or struggling with anxiety, mood swings, or relationship conflicts.

  • ADULTS
Looking to gain healthier coping strategies, manage stress, or build emotional resilience.

Why DBT groups work?

Group therapy offers more than just learning skills—it provides connection, community, and accountability.

IN OUR DBT GROUPS, YOU’LL FIND:

  • A supportive environment where your experiences are validated

  • Guidance from experienced clinicians who tailor sessions to your needs

  • A chance to connect with others going through similar challenges

  • Structured learning with take-home tools to use between sessions

Our curriculum covers the four core DBT modules.

Skills you’ll learn:

  • 1. Mindfulness

Develop the ability to stay present and grounded in the current moment. Group members will learn to increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surroundings—helping them live with greater clarity and balance.

  • 2. Distress Tolerance

Build skills to tolerate emotional pain and navigate crisis situations without making things worse. Learn how to accept difficult experiences and respond with resilience rather than reactivity.

  • 3. Emotion Regulation

Gain tools to understand, manage, and respond to emotions like fear, sadness, anger, and anxiety. This module focuses on increasing emotional awareness, reducing vulnerability to overwhelming emotions, and fostering emotional balance.

  • 4. Interpersonal Effectiveness

Learn how to communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and maintain self-respect in relationships. This module helps group members build and maintain meaningful connections while navigating conflict and asserting their needs with confidence and clarity.
